Via Jordan: “I, personally, love a little project. This Halloween, I made a 6’ papier-maché goblin head (mostly to avoid the work I was supposed to be doing). Something about a stakes-free project was so peaceful. Call it zen, call it escapism, who knows. I recently discovered that there are all sorts of deadstock model kits online that are really cool and fun to assemble if you’re into that sort of thing. Keep in mind though that you’ll want to buy a kit you won’t mind seeing around the house if the builder feels the irresistible need to put their hard work on display. But don’t worry! They’re not all like tanks and muscle cars! This anatomical model? A Space Shuttle? Coca-Cola dodge Ram? (Okay, this one is a car). And for those who don't wanna build anything at all, a tiny, working TV! (I have this, it rules.)"
